This Course Participation Agreement governs participation in all in‑person training courses offered by Atelier Beauty / Roxana Scutariu Nail Academy (“the Academy”). The terms are made available to the student prior to enrollment. By paying the deposit or full course fee, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full. No handwritten signature is required for validity.

The duration, daily schedule, structure, and content of each course are specified in the individual course description or booking confirmation. Daily hours may vary depending on the course type, student level, and practical progress. Group size is limited and specified per course. The Academy reserves the right to cancel the course if only one student signs up, unless specifically stated otherwise within the course description.

A deposit may be required to reserve a seat. The deposit amount and total course price are stated in the relevant course description or booking confirmation. The deposit constitutes compensation for reserving a limited training place and for administrative planning. Unless otherwise stated in mandatory law, the deposit is binding and non‑refundable. If the student cancels participation, the deposit will not be returned. The remaining balance must be paid no later than the first day of the course before instruction begins, unless otherwise specified.

Rescheduling may be granted only in cases of documented critical illness. Official medical documentation must be provided without delay. Approval of rescheduling is at the Academy’s reasonable discretion. If the Academy cancels a course due to force majeure, instructor illness, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, the student is entitled to participation in a rescheduled course or a refund of payments made. The Academy shall not be liable for additional costs including travel expenses, accommodation, or loss of income.

Models may be provided depending on the course structure; however, model attendance cannot be guaranteed. Students may be required to assist in sourcing models. If a model fails to attend, students may practice on their own hands or alternative arrangements may be made. Lack of model availability does not entitle the student to refund or compensation.

Students agree to comply with all hygiene, sanitation, and safety instructions provided during the course. Participation is voluntary and at the student’s own responsibility. All safety procedures and instructions on how to use various tools are included in the Base Level 1 course. The Academy shall not be liable for injuries, allergic reactions, infections, damages, or other losses.

Students may record parts of the course strictly for personal educational purposes. It is prohibited to share, publish, upload, reproduce, distribute, teach, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit course materials, demonstrations, techniques, manuals, or recordings. All intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of the Academy. Students may not record other students or models without their consent, and the Academy may restrict recording during certain parts of the training for safety or confidentiality reasons.

Students are responsible for using Academy equipment and facilities with care. Any damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident, or failure to follow instructions may result in the student being held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

The Academy shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, or reduced course quality caused by technical issues including power outages, electrical failures, equipment malfunction, or internet disruptions. Such circumstances do not entitle the student to refunds.

The Academy reserves the right to remove a student from the course without refund in cases of inappropriate behavior, repeated violation of hygiene or safety rules, harassment, unsafe conduct, or disruption of the learning environment.

This Agreement is governed by Danish law. Mandatory provisions of Danish consumer protection legislation remain applicable where required. By paying the deposit or full course fee, the student confirms acceptance of these terms.
